Hello! I’m Juan Carlos from Mexico and I will travel to China the next Month. I was planning on hiking to the laojun temple on the mountain but I came across some restrictions con foreigns, I wanted to know if I book a tour will I be able to climb it? Thank you!

Thank you for your inquiry about Laojun Mountain. Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that Laojun Mountain is currently closed to foreign visitors, even with a guided tour. We are unable to arrange entry for you.
However, there are many other fantastic hiking and natural exploration opportunities in the Lijiang area that are open to foreign travelers, such as Tiger Leaping Gorge or Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We would be happy to help you plan an unforgettable trek to one of these equally stunning locations.
