Just got back from a 6-day trip to Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang with a couple of friends, and it was incredible! We loved exploring the Stone Forest and wandering around Yuantong Temple in Kunming. Cycling around Erhai Lake in Dali was such a fun way to see the scenery, and the old towns in both Dali and Lijiang had so much charm—perfect for photos and just soaking in the local vibe.
Seeing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Blue Moon Valley in Lijiang was breathtaking. The markets and tie-dye workshops gave us a real taste of local culture, and honestly, every day felt full but never rushed. Totally recommend this route if you want a mix of nature, history, and chill exploration!

She also paid close attention to our pace, making sure we had enough time to enjoy the bike ride at Erhai Lake, the tie-dye workshop in Zhoucheng, and the relaxed walks in the old towns.
