I had the pleasure of taking the 4-day Yangtze River cruise from Chongqing, and it was one of the most relaxing and scenic experiences I’ve had in China. From the moment we boarded the ship, everything was well-organized — the cabin was spotless, the crew were friendly and attentive, and the itinerary struck the right balance between sightseeing and relaxation.

The highlight for me was the visit to the Three Gorges Dam — both impressive and humbling. The natural landscapes we passed were simply breathtaking, especially through the Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge. Onboard activities like cultural talks and traditional performances added meaningful context to the journey.

Meals onboard were delicious and catered to both Western and Chinese tastes. I also appreciated that our English-speaking guide was available throughout the trip to answer questions and assist whenever needed.

Highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking to explore China beyond its cities. It offers a different pace and a truly majestic view of the country’s natural beauty.
