Vaguely remember I was brought to a temple with 100 monks. I was told to start counting from any one monk according to my age. When I reach counting, e.g. my age then was 42, that particular monk would be equivalent to my fate & fortune. Unfortunately, I have lost my photos. Another lead = I also visited the ErMei Mountain and the river was dried from drought, I believe it was 1986 or 1991 or 1992. Hope someone can confirm this is the temple, with pictures of inside, if possible.

Hi Eddie, you are remembering the Arhat counting custom - you start at any monk and count forward by your age to see which arhat you land on for the year ahead. I have emailed you a bit more on the tradition and which temple it was if you feel like revisiting.
