Firstly, head to Qingyan Ancient Town, 29km south of the city of Guiyang. It is one of the most famous historical and cultural towns in Guizhou Province dating back to the year of 1378. The ancient town is elaborately designed and artistically built with scattered temples, old Ming and Qing buildings, well known for exhibiting five hundreds painted arhat sculptures.
After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Guiyang city.
After breakfast, drive to Anshun (about 2 hours ). Visit Huangguohu Waterfall, the largest in Asia, which reaches 76 meters high, 81 meters wide. The scene changes while you are standing in different places.
Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.
Then take a visit to Tianxingqiao Scenic Spot. Tiangxinqiao Scenic Spot is composed of three areas: Tianxin Cave, Potted Landscape on Water and Stone Forest in Water, 7km south of Huangguoshu Waterfall.
After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Anshun.
After breakfast, you will be taken to visit Dragon Palace Cave - an underground water cave which needs a boat ride. It boasts a large limestone cave with a long underground river and multiple karst landscapes. You could take a small boat to cruise into the grotesque and gaudy labyrinth to sight-see the dazzling stalactite and stalagmite formations, gorges, streams as well as thundering underground waterfalls.
Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.
In the Afternoon visit to Tianlgong Ancient Town. The ancestors of these villagers migrated from Jiangxi Province to Guizhou Province during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). Women here are still dressed in traditional Ming dynasty costumes, and houses remain faithful to the Ming architectural styles.
After the tour, transfer to Anshun train station for your train to Kaili, it takes around 1 hour by high speed train. Once you arrive, you will be taken to your hotel in Kaili.
After breakfast, our guide will take you to explore the essence of Kaili, it is the home to the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Southeast Guizhou, and also the base of southeast Guizhou's ethnic culture tour.
Firstly, you will pay a visit to Kaili Museum, where you can get general impression of the region and Miao and Dong's classification, costume and life style.
Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.
continue your tour to Shidong Piantou Miao village (1 hours by driving), the village accepts hundreds of visitors to join in famous Sisters' Meal Festival (always on April) every year. In the normal period, the village seems quiet but still remains lots of cultural things to discover.
After the tour, you will be back to your hotel in Kaili.
After breakfast, you will visit the Wanba Gejia village, where you could experience the Miao's special costumes and dress-up and enjoy the natural sceneries.
After lunch, transfer back to Guiyang for your train or flight.
