Your journey today begins with a visit to Jiaju Tibetan Village, located just 8 kilometers from Danba County and celebrated as the region’s most distinctive cultural attraction. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you through this enchanting village, whose name “Jiaju” means “a hundred families” in Tibetan, reflecting the tightly-knit community that has thrived here for generations. Nestled along undulating mountainsides with a vertical height difference of nearly one kilometer, the village showcases traditional Tibetan-style buildings stacked gracefully on cliffs and high slopes, interwoven with rivers, streams, and rustic dams. As you wander through the village, wisps of cooking smoke curl gently from chimneys, mingling with misty clouds that drift through the valleys. After a delicious lunch at a local Tibetan-style restaurant (at your own expense), your journey continues with a scenic drive of about one hour to the stunning Danba Beauty Valley, located in Badi Township approximately 26 kilometers from Danba County. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you through this picturesque valley, which is interconnected with numerous charming Tibetan villages. Beauty Valley offers a captivating blend of natural and cultural landscapes: rolling snow-capped mountains, crystal-clear streams, serene lakes, traditional watchtowers, Lama temples, and lively Tibetan camps. Along the way, you may also catch glimpses of the region’s locals, including Danba women and girls in traditional attire, adding a vibrant human touch to the scenic surroundings. Today, you will pay a visit to the Dangling Scenic Area, which is located in Bianer Township, Danba County, with a total area of 368 square kilometers. Due to its unique geological, geomorphic and climatic conditions, Dangling scenic spot still has a natural ecosystem in its original state. It has preserved a large number of rare animals, plants, insects and other living fossils that have been extinct in most areas since the Quaternary period (2.5 million years ago). It has become a very important geological history museum and species gene bank in the world. At the same time, it is also one of the most representative regions in the global biogeographic region, which has extremely important protection value and scientific research value. You will spend about 4-5 hours here, to enjoy the fun of hiking.
As your day of sightseeing comes to a close, your guide and driver will ensure a smooth and timely transfer back to your hotel.
