This 6-day tour was well-paced and thoughtfully organized. Starting in Chongqing gave us a taste of urban China with its spicy cuisine and unique cityscape. I had the pleasure of taking the 4-day Yangtze River cruise from Chongqing, and it was one of the most relaxing and scenic experiences I’ve had in China. From the moment we boarded the ship, everything was well-organized — the cabin was spotless, the crew were friendly and attentive, and the itinerary struck the right balance between sightseeing and relaxation.
The highlight for me was the visit to the Three Gorges Dam — both impressive and humbling. The natural landscapes we passed were simply breathtaking, especially through the Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge. Onboard activities like cultural talks and traditional performances added meaningful context to the journey.
