Danba County
Danba county is located in the east of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, which is the east gate of Ganzi Prefecture. It borders Xiaojin County of Aba Prefecture in the East, Kangding city of Aba Prefecture in the southeast, Daofu County in the west, and Jinchuan County of Aba Prefecture in the north and northeast. Danba county is high in the West and low in the East, with an altitude of 1700-5521 meters. The county is located in ZhangGu town on the Bank of Dadu River, with an altitude of 1800 meters. It is 137 kilometers away from Kangding, the state capital, and 368 kilometers away from Chengdu. Due to its unique geographical location, the main way from Chengdu to Danba county is highway (self driving, bus), which takes at least 8 hours.
