Guang'an Deng Xiaoping's Hometown Tourist Area is located in Xiexing Town, Guang'an District, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. It covers an area of 3.19 square kilometers. History of Deng Xiaoping
Deng Xiaoping (1904~1997),  a great Marxist, proletarian revolutionist, statesman, military strategist, diplomat, one of the main leaders of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, and the People’s Republic of China, China’s socialist reform, opening up and modernization The chief designer of Deng Xiaoping, the founder of Deng Xiaoping Theory.
A native of Guang'an, Sichuan. Born on August 22, 1904. Formerly known as Deng Xiansheng, scientific name Deng Xixian. Entered at the age of 5 and was admitted to Guang'an County Middle School after graduating from high school. In the autumn of 1919, he was admitted to the Chongqing Work-study Preparatory School for Study in France. In the summer of 1920, went to France for a work-study program. Joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League in 1922 and became a member of the Communist Party of China in 1924. To study in the Soviet Union in early 1926.

The Former Residence of Deng Xiaoping
Comrade Deng Xiaoping was born here on August 22, 1904, and lived here for 15 years. Deng Xiaoping’s former residence is an ordinary Sichuan-East Sichuan farmhouse courtyard, affectionately called "Deng's old courtyard" by local people. Like many dwellings in eastern Sichuan, Deng Xiaoping’s former residence is nestled amongst a flamboyant bamboo. The former residence sits east to west and occupies an area of 883 square meters. The house is a suspended mountain-style wooden structure with a small blue tile roof building with a bucket-type load-bearing system. There are 17 rooms, divided into the main room, the left side room and the right side room.

Deng Xiaoping Bronze Statue Square
Surrounded by ridges on three sides, it looks like a large natural seat. The bronze statue of Deng Xiaoping sits in this natural environment with green grass and towering old trees. The bronze statue of Deng Xiaoping is 2.5 meters high and weighs 1.2 tons. The bronze statue sits north facing south. The base is made of black sand granite. The five characters "Bronze Statue of Deng Xiaoping" inscribed by Comrade Jiang Zemin are engraved on the front. This cast bronze statue has a gentle face, thin cheeks and sharp and deep eyes. Wearing a short-sleeved shirt, military trousers, and cloth shoes, Xiaoping sat on a chair with a smile on his face, watching the mountains and rivers of his hometown affectionately, as if shaking off the dust, returning to his hometown, watching the development and changes in his hometown.
