Overview
Longquan mountains, located in the west of Sichuan Basin, are the eastern mountains of Chengdu Plain (the western edge mountains are Longmen Mountains), with a north-south trend. Longquan Mountain is the watershed of Minjiang River and Tuojiang River. Counties alongta the Longquan Mountain range are the main settlements of Sichuan Hakkas. Taking Xihe town of Chengdu as an example, 95% of the residents in the town are from Guangdong.

Weather & Climate
The annual average temperature of Longquan Mountain area is 16 ?, and the annual precipitation is 920 mm. In October and early November of each year, the Longquan Mountain area is mostly overcast, and the temperature is between 10-21 ?.

Main attractions
Yundingshan Mountain
Yunding mountain, located in the middle of Longquan Mountain range, it is a famous tourist attraction near Chengdu. At the same time, Yunding mountain has also been the place of contention among ancient countries since ancient times. The Southern Song Dynasty once built a city wall here to to resist the invasion of the Yuan Dynasty. At present, there are still some military sites, such as fort, barracks, Tianchi, well, sentry box, water army wharf, etc.
